Can I buy Tickets at the Door day of the con?- Yes, Tickets for one day or weekend admission will be sold at the box office at Suburban Collection Showplace. Box office is located in lobby next to will call stations and will be open during the event hours all weekend. BOX OFFICE TICKETS WILL HAVE A $2 add on CHARGE
I ordered, how do I get my ticket?- All pre-sale tickets (sold on our site) will be picked up at any WILL CALL Station at the convention. At will call present the QR code (your confirmation email from purchase) and you will get your wristband, Lanyard, and badge.
When does the Will Call Stations open?- Will Call opens at 8:30am Saturday August 2nd and on 9:30am on Sunday August 3. *Will Call Closes at 6pm Saturday and 4pm Sunday.
Do I need my ID to pick up wristband/Badge? No, you will however need your ticket order confirmation email. Present the email for wristband and badge pick up.
What if I lost my ticket order confirmation email?- No problem. We can look up your order by name used on the ticket order. Or if you know you lost this prior to the con, email us HERE and we can resend the confirmation email to you.
Can I enter with only my lanyard and Badge?No, you MUST HAVE A WRISTBAND FOR ENTRY.
Is there re- entry to the con?- Yes, as long as you are wearing your wristband
Are tickets refundable or transferable? - No. but email us if you have a special situation
If I have a VIP Ticket can anyone else come with we when I’m in the VIP line skip?- Yes, if you have a VIP pass and skip lines to meet a guest you can have someone with you. That person can not get an auto, but can be with you, they do not need a vip ticket to be with you.
Can I upgrade from a weekend or daily admission ticket to a vip ticket? - Yes , please email us and we can make this happen.
Is there anything I need to do for Sunday if I have a weekend ticket?- Nope, please keep your wristband on and enter the con Sunday any time.
Are tickets sold anywhere besides MichiganAnime.com site and the Box office? NO. any ticket being listed for sale not on our website or at the Suburban Collection Showplace box office is 100% A SCAM
FAq’s - GUESTS/Autos
Do voice actor guests charge for autographs? Yes, we will have their info of what they decide to charge on our site and socials asap. Please keep in mind that these prices are determined by guests and subject to change at their digression.
Will there be lines to meet guests?- Yes, there are typically lines to meet guests and at times there could be a wait of an hour or more. Please plan accordingly when expecting to meet guests. Joining our Discord and or email list is a great place to get real time info during the con weekend.
What happens if a guest cancels their appearance?- Sometimes this happens, and we always work to bring back guests for one of our upcoming events. Unfortunately convention tickets are refundable. If a guest cancellation creates a reason for not wanting to attend please email us and we will do everything we can to help.
FAq’s - Convention
Are kids allowed at the convention? - Yes, Children age 10 and under are FREE admission. All attendees under the age of 16 should be with an adult. Attendees between the ages of 16 and 18 are recommended to attend with an adult.
Is there any 18+ or adult content that my children or family may possibly be exposed to? NO …. MiAnime is family friendly and all adult content from vendors MUST be covered and/or NOT displayed. There will not be any adult content performances or panels that anyone could be exposed to without prior consent. *Attendees will be in cosplay and costumes. These costumes will be from character themes, however, they need to follow guidelines which can be found HERE
Will there be any food or drinks at the convention?- Yes. Suburban Collection Showplace will have concessions in operation during the convention hours. They can be found near the entrance and exit areas within the convention hall.
Where should we enter the Venue?- The main entrance will be the HALL B entrance doors. There will be an LED Sign outside above the entrance. However any door you enter there will be signage and staff all around to help you find Will Call, Box Office, and/or the Main Con Hall Entrance.
Can I wear a costume? - Yes, costumes and cosplay are encouraged. Contest info will be coming soon and for all cosplay rules see our policies pageHERE
Is there a prop weapon check in?- No, if your prop weapon is seemingly real enough that you think it needs to be checked in the we’d suggest you leave it at home. Our Saftey guidlines for prop weapons can be found HERE
Can I bring in my bag or backpack?- Yes.
Can I bring a stroller for my kids?- Yes, we have wide aisles… strollers, kids, families, are ALL WELCOME
Are there separate tickets or reservations needed for PANELS?- No. However panels rooms may fill so plan ahead to ensure you make it to all the events you want to see. Schedule info can be found HERE
Are there separate tickets or reservations needed for WORKSHOPS?- Yes. Some workshops require a cost to participate like the Gundam model building workshop for example. Attendees will be able to build and keep a model. The cost covers the expense of the models. Costs and schedule for these workshops will be available HERE
When will the Con Events Schedule be posted? Expect the schedule around the first week of July HERE
Can I film or take pictures at the con? - For the most part Yes, you’re welcome to take still pictures and video. Recording and photos are not permitted in certain parts of the Autographing Area. Please understand that guests and/or other attendees may or may not pose for photographs/ Video. ALL Guests and Attendees have a right to their privacy and if they ask not to have their picture/video taken, please respect their wishes.

Can I fly a drone?No, Drones are NOT allowed.
What should do if I’m lost or have lost someone?- CONTACT CON STAFF and/or VENUE SECURITY Immediately.
Can I bring my pet(s)?- No please leave animals at home. No Animals — except for service animals — are allowed into the convention.
Will anyone film me or take my picture if I attend the convention? We attract local and at times national press. In purchasing a ticket and in consideration for being admitted to the Event, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases Mianime operations LLC from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits Mianime Operations LLC and its designees which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors to use and authorize the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter know for all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the event. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any kind at designated activities without the express written permission of Mianime Operations LLC. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the event.
